A NORTHWICH man whose two-week haul of stolen goods from supermarkets included a Little Tikes toy car has been sentenced to 24 weeks in prison.

Gary Lee Bloor, of Parkfield Road, pleaded guilty to seven charges of theft at Warrington Magistrates’ Court.

The 37-year-old, who also goes by the name of Gary Blower, stole goods worth more than £600 from June 1 to June 15.

Bloor first stole whiskey worth £70 from Tesco on June 1, before returning to steal an electric shaver worth £49 on June 5.

He then took plants worth £70 on June 7 before returning on the same day to take more plants worth £57.

Bloor returned to Tesco again on June 8 to take more plants, this time worth £100, and stole alcohol worth £80 from Sainsbury’s on the same day.

His final theft of the fortnight-long crime spree came on June 15, when Bloor took a Little Tikes toy car worth £180 from Tesco.

The court ruled that Bloor ‘has a flagrant disregard for people and their property’ and took his previous record of offending into account before sentencing him to 24 weeks in prison.

Bloor must also pay compensation of £326 to Tesco and £80 compensation to Sainsbury’s from November, following his release.
