Traffic officers spotted a Honda Accord on Albert Road in Farnworth before it made off.

The vehicle was followed by police for four minutes and then struck two cars on Barton Road.

A picture shared on social media by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) shows that the Honda was significantly damaged following the crash.
