A NINETEEN-YEAR-OLD woman who has pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly and assaulting a police constable will be sentenced this September.

Macy Farrimond admitted to committing the offences on December 29 last year when she appeared before Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Monday, July 27.

Farrimond, of Chisworth Close, Leigh, pleaded guilty to a charge of being drunk and disorderly on Elliot Street in Tyldesley.

She also indicated a guilty plea to an assault by beating of an emergency service worker, namely a woman constable who was acting in the exercise of her functions as a police officer.

The case was adjourned by magistrates in order for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.

Farrimond will next appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, September 1 when she is due to be sentenced.
