A FATHER-OF-THREE netted nearly £1 million on the National Lottery - but he said he would still be in work on Monday morning.
Blackburn Rovers fan Trevor Noon, 50, of Great Harwood, was presented with a cheque for £908,711 by personal friend and team captain Lucas Neill.i after his win in December 2006.
But Trevor, an engineer at metal firm Wirex Precision, Great Harwood said he had not thought about leaving because he loves his job.
Trevor, who was one of several winners sharing the jackpot, said: “It is just fantastic news. I could not believe it. I thought I had just won a tenner at first but then realised I had six numbers. I had forgotten my usual numbers when I went for the ticket, so I just got a lucky dip instead. And I’m glad I did!”
Trevor and his wife Elaine said they now planned to move house and have a holiday but had not other plans as yet for their winnings.
