POLICE seized a car which had been abandoned in the middle of a road after being driven erratically.
Officers received reports of a car abandoned in the middle of Twist Lane, Leigh after being driven in an erratic manner in the town centre.
Police found the vehicle had no insurance and was in an "unsafe condition".
They removed the Audi and took it to a recovery garage.

GMP Leigh, Atherton & Hindley said: "Vehicle reported by members of the public to have been abandoned in the middle of the road on Twist Lane, Leigh after driving erratically through the town centre.
"Officers attended and found the vehicle to have no insurance and to be in an unsafe condition. The vehicle was seized by officers and removed to our recovery garage."
