Driver arrested after car overturns on M57 near Prescot
A DRIVER was arrested after a car overturned on the M57 motorway on Sunday morning.
Two lanes were closed on the southbound carriageway between junction 3 at Stockbridge Village and junction 2 at Prescot.
The blue SEAT Ibiza car ended up on its side.
Emergency crews at the scene
Police and firefighters were called and the incident led to lengthy delays for motorists.
Merseyside Police’s Roads Traffic Policing unit said a motorist had been arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
