WHAT a glorious year 1966 was for the Saints - and this shot of the supporters at the Championship Final captures the mood.
"Saints for the double!" declares the banner.
Saints had, of course beaten Wigan 21-2 the week before in the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley and they went on to complete a haul of four trophies for that year.
Hat-tricks for Harry Sunderland winner prop Albert Halsall and Len Killeen helped Saints to a 35-12 over Halifax in front of a 30,000 crowd at Swinton's Station Road.
It was the first time this particular double had happened in a major final.
But in something of an original face in the crowd shot, it seems one fan in particular is a little bit camera shy.
I wonder if anyone can spot themselves or their relatives on this picture.
