A MAN accused of assaulting police officers and racially aggravated threatening behaviour will face a Crown Court.
Daniel Mark Hayes, of Nelson Street, Tyldesley appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court.
Hayes, 39, is charged with assaulting a policeman and assaulting a policewoman.
He is also charged with two counts of racially aggravated threatening behaviour against a police officer and two counts of using threatening words or behaviour against a police officer.
The alleged offences took place on Tuesday, September 15, says a court sheet.
Hayes pleaded not guilty and the case has been sent to Bolton Crown Court.
Hayes was given unconditional bail and will next appear at the Crown Court on October 15.
