ENGLAND is in the grip of a pandemic and we have all had to adjust to frequently changing coronavirus restrictions.
So you would be forgiven if the clocks going back this month had slipped your mind.
This year, the clocks will be changing on Sunday, October 25, at 2am. So, in practical terms, you just need to set your clock back one hour when you go to bed on Saturday, October 24.
The transition will take us out of Daylight Saving Time – which we have been on since the last Sunday in March – and onto Greenwich Mean Time.
The main purpose of Daylight Saving Time is to make better use of daylight. We change our clocks during the summer months to move an hour of daylight from the morning to the evening.
