CHESHIRE Oaks is searching for a local hero to light up its giant Christmas tree.
The annual lights switch-on is due to take place at the Ellesmere Port-based designer outlet on November 11.
This year, the popular shopping destination wants the public to nominate a "shining star" to light up its iconic 90ft Christmas tree.
Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet said: "We need you to light up Christmas! We're searching for the ultimate local hero to light up our 90ft tree.
"Tag your shining star below and share how they've supported you."
To nominate your local hero you just need to comment on the Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet's Facebook post, below, before 5pm on October 21.
The winner will not only get to switch on the lights on the iconic tree, they will also receive tickets to a drive-in cinema event planned for November 11.
