WARRINGTON extreme scare attraction, Evans Haunted House, is off this year due to the pandemic.
But the same team have organised a small scale Halloween event for those who do not want to miss out.
Organiser Craig Davies has promised that next year Evans Haunted House 'will be back bigger and better than ever'.
In the meantime, Craig's escape room at Evans House in Norman Street – Lock Down Escape – will be given a haunted twist for bookings on October 30 and 31.
The set up is pretty terrifying to begin with three rooms to choose from – you can be a paranormal investigator trapped in a 'vortex of lost souls', a Death Row inmate with one hour to prove your innocence or someone trying to escape an insane asylum.
But over the Halloween weekend, Craig will be bumping up the fear factor with scare actors.
The former William Beamont High and Bridgewater High pupil said: "Due to lockdown rules, we can't open the scare attraction as normal but we will be doing a Halloween escape room with a twist.
"Last year we had 80 staff at Evans Haunted House– now we can only have six staff to scare people.
"We have had to downsize and limit the number of customers from 1,000 a night down to 72 maximum but next year we will be back bigger and better than ever."
Availability is limited with a maximum of 18 groups per day ranging from two to six people.
Due to Warrington's current coronavirus restrictions, each group has to be made up of members of the same household or support bubble.
