A SHOP in Warrington town centre was robbed at knifepoint yesterday morning.
Cheshire Police have confirmed that the store on Bridge Street was targeted at around 11am on Monday, October 19.
And the force has since charged two men in connection with the incident.
David Holt and Simon Baker were arrested on O’Leary Street in Orford shortly after 11.30am the same day.
The pair, both of O’Leary Street and aged 44 and 50 respectively, have since been charged with robbery.
Holt has also been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place.
Both man appeared before Warrington Magistrates Court via video link today, Tuesday, in order to face these charges.
They will now appear before Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday, November 17, and have been remanded into custody until that date.
