COMMUTERS are warned of delays this evening due to a tree falling on the railway.
A tree has fallen on the rail track between Wigan Wallgate and Kirkby stations.
The route takes in Rainford train station.

One service, scheduled to leave Kirkby at 5.35pm, has already been cancelled.
Delays are now expected until around 7pm, say Northern.
Train services running to and from these stations will be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or terminated at and started back from Wigan Wallgate.
