A MAN who caused criminal damage to a vehicle has been fined.
Robert Knapkin, of Market Street, Hindley caused damage to the value of £75 to a motor vehicle in Golborne on July 9.
Knapkin, 22, was sentenced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court.
He was fined £99 and ordered to pay £75 in compensation.
He must also pay a surcharge to victim services of £34 and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
This makes a total of £293.
Knapkin's guilty plea was taken into account on sentencing.
