A BLOCK of terraced homes is set for the bulldozers after an application was received by the council.
A prior notification has been sent to the council seeking permission to demolish 359 to 365 Leigh Road, Hindley Green.
The application states demolition work is expected to start on January 25, 2021 and be completed by February 19, 2021.
Plans state "Noise generation is to be kept to a minimum. All plant is to be silenced where possible and over revving of equipment is to be avoided.
"Noisy activity will be limited to 8am to 6pm on weekdays, and 8am to 1pm on a Saturday with no demolition works carried out at any other time unless required as a result of matters outside the control of Urban Regen Ltd in the interests of public safety".
