A NINETEEN-YEAR-OLD man has denied a charge of possession of a sharply pointed article in public.
Carl Michael Hayes, of Railway Road, Leigh, pleaded not guilty to the charge at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court.
Hayes is accused of having a half pair of scissors on his possession in public at the rear of Diamond Street, Leigh on Wednesday, November 11.
Hayes, 19, pleaded not guilty in court.
He will next appear for a trial on March 8, 2021 and has been given unconditional bail.
