A MAN who has denied driving with drugs in his system will face trial in the new year.
David McMullen, of Jaffrey Street, Leigh, appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court where he pleaded not guilty to the charges.
McMullen, 38, is accused of driving a Ford Mondeo on Wigan Road, Leigh on April 27 this year with Diazepam, Benzoylecgonine (a cocaine metabolite) and Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (cannabis ingredient) in his system.
He is also accused of driving the car without insurance or a licence, charges he also denies.
The case was adjourned until January 7, 2021 and McMullen has been given unconditional bail.
