A THIRTEEN-YEAR-OLD girl was assaulted by a man in an alleyway on Saturday evening.

Police were called to a report of an assault at around 7.10pm on Saturday, November 28.

A girl aged 13 was walking along a ginnel linking Helston Way and Stour Road in Astley when she was assaulted by a man who was walking a dog.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "Enquiries are ongoing to trace the offender.

"No arrests have currently been made.

"Police are aware of a video purporting to show the lead up to the assault.
