LEIGH Centurions Derek Beaumont owner is encouraging the rugby league community to support the Go-Fund Me page set up following the death of Blackbrook player Jordan Welsby.
The 26-year-old died after being involved in a road traffic accident on Boxing Day.
A fund set up by teammate Sean Richardson to 'Help Create an amazing send off for Jordy' has already topped £15,000.
Beaumont tweeted: "Sad story this and one I hope our rugby community can support. Our amateur clubs are our futures. Please retweet and donate if you can please."
