Riley, 22, was fined £120, made to pay a surcharge of £34 and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, making a total of £239.

The court ordered the Rottweiller Cross must be kept under proper control on a lead by a person aged at least 16 and fitted with a muzzle.

The dog must be neutered within 56 days of being returned to the owner and must be insured for the risk to third parties.
