A SEVENTEEN-YEAR-OLD girl has been sentenced after she admitted to burglary and criminal damage.

The teenager, from Leigh, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Wigan and Leigh Youth Court.

She pleaded guilty to entering a property on Bonnywell Road in Leigh on May 27 last year as a trespasser with intent to do damage.

The girl also pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to windows to the value of £100.

She was referred to a youth offender panel for a period of eight months and ordered to pay a surcharge of £22.
