THE roads are still being impacted by flooding this morning.
A statement from Wigan Council read: "Surface water flooding continues to impact on the road network this morning.
"Please consider alternative routes, avoid attempting to drive through flood water and keep an eye out for road closure signs. Further updates will be provided."
Among the routes closed are Warrington Road, Leigh, between the East Lancs A580 and A572 Chapel Street.
There have been reports of flooding across the area.
Pennington Hall Park and cafe were among places flooded.
