A DOG was stolen from a road in Hindley by three men, police say.
Socks, a seven-year-old female Greyhound Whippet/Bedlington Terrier cross, was taken from Castle Hill Road, Hindley on Tuesday, January 19.
She was taken by three men in an unknown vehicle at 3.45pm, say police.
National reports have highlighted a steep rise in dog thefts during the coronavirus crisis.
Socks is a female rough-haired with white feet and a small white spot on her chest.
She is approximately 20-21 inches in height and looks similar to the photo in the appeal.
