A MAN has admitted to theft of a motorbike in Leigh while another pleaded guilty to handling the stolen vehicle.
Aaron Gerrard Hill, of Castle Hill Road, Hindley and Richard Darrell Hughes, of Livingston Street, Ashton-in-Makerfield appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court.
Hill, 28, indicated a guilty plea to stealing a Honda Motorbike to the value of £3,500 in Leigh between December 8, 2019 and March 20, 2020.
Meanwhile, Hughes, 48, pleaded guilty to dishonestly receiving stolen goods, namely the Honda Motorbike between December 8, 2019 and March 20, 2020.
Hughes was sentenced to a community order and must do up to 15 days of rehabilitation activity.
He 48-year-old was also fined £50 and made to pay £200 in compensation and a £95 surcharge, making a total of £345.
Meanwhile, Hill was given unconditional bail while a pre-sentence report is prepared.
He will be sentenced on March 18 at the magistrates' court.
