NINE suspects accused of drugs offences in Leigh will face a Crown Court next month.

The suspects appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on charges relating to alleged drugs supply.

Nathan Lee Rutter, of Wigan Road, Leigh appeared facing seven charges.

Rutter is charged with conspiring to supply cocaine and heroin in Leigh between August 2018 and February 2020.

He is also charged with possession of pepper spray canister, possession of a torch taser and with driving a Volvo dangerously.

The 20-year-old is also charged with possession of a machete and possession of a knife.

Meanwhile, Jake Muldoon, 22 (date of birth: March 20, 1998) is charged with conspiring to supply heroin and cocaine in Leigh between August 2018 and February 2020.

Declan Prescott, 23, (date of birth: April 17, 1997) is also charged with conspiring to supply heroin and cocaine in Leigh between August 2018 and February 2020.

He also faces two charges of possession of a machete, two counts of dangerous driving and two counts of handling stolen goods.

Jamie Ashcroft, 21, of Keble Grove, Leigh is charged with conspiring to supply heroin and cocaine between August 2018 and February 2020.

Shaun Bowden, 29, of Wavertree Avenue, Atherton is also charged with conspiring to supply heroin and cocaine between August 2018 and February 2020.

Meanwhile, Christopher Barnes, 30, of Yew Tree Avenue, Atherton also faces charges of conspiring to supply cocaine and heroin between August 2018 and February 2020.

Adam Jarir, 28, of Kingsland Crescent, Liverpool also appeared in court charged with conspiring to supply cocaine and heroin between August 2018 and February 2020.

Rhys Jones, 22, of Railway Road, Leigh also faces charges of conspiring to supply cocaine and heroin between August 2018 and February 2020.

Meanwhile, Marie Ledwith, 38, of Hilda Street, Leigh is charged with two counts of permitting the supply of drugs at an address of which she was the occupier between December 30, 2018 and January 6, 2019.

Rutter, Bowden, Barnes, Ashcroft, Jones and Ledwith were granted unconditional bail before their next hearing.

Meanwhile, Muldoon and Prescott were remanded into custody.

All defendants will next appear at Bolton Crown Court on the morning of Wednesday, March 10.
