THREE teenagers have been charged with the murder of Scott Anderton, police have confirmed.
Liam Bailey, 18 of Diamond Street, Leigh, and two boys, aged 16 and 17, – who cannot be named for legal reasons, have all been charged with one count of murder.
They have been remanded to appear at Manchester Crown Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 29.

Police were called shortly before 7am on Thursday, March 25 to a report of a body in the Leeds and Liverpool canal.
The body of Scott Anderton, 33, was recovered from the water.
Police say he died after suffering multiple stab wounds and blunt trauma injuries.
