  • Birkenhead Park (near the visitor centre) 9am to 5pm
  • Junction 1 Retail Park (M&S Foodhall) 9am to 5pm

Tuesday:

  • Tesco Bidston 9am to 5pm
  • Eastham Library 9am to 5pm
  • Bebington Oval 9am to 7pm

Wednesday

  • Birkenhead Medical Centre (Laird Street) 9am to 5pm
  • Moreton Cross (near the library) 9am to 5pm
  • Woodchurch Leisure Centre 9am to 7pm

Thursday

Tesco Heswall 9am to 5pm Greasby Library 9am to 5pm

Friday

  • Sainsbury's Upton 9am to 5pm
  • Victoria Park, Rock Ferry 9am to 5pm
  • Wallasey Town Hall car park 9am to 5pm

Saturday: 

  • Leasowe Leisure Centre 9am to 12 noon
  • Birkenhead Park (near the Visitor Centre) 9am to 4pm

Sunday (May 23): 

Harrison Drive, New Brighton (Western end) 10am to 4pm

You can visit one of the symptom-free testing centres to collect testing kits for you and your household or take a test with help from staff.

There is no need to book. However, you can book an appointment below if you want to take a test at a guaranteed time that suits you.

The Floral Pavilion: Monday to Friday, 10:30am to 6:15pm. Saturday and Sunday, 10:30am to 2:15pm

Old House of Fraser building, Birkenhead: Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:15pm Saturday, 9am to 2:15pm. Closed Sunday

Symptom-free testing is no longer available at Eastham and Greasby libraries.

You can also collect symptom-free test kits from the symptoms-only testing centres from 2:30pm to 8pm each day.

  • You can pick up testing kits at the following locations:
  • Central libraries in Bebington, Wallasey, West Kirby and Birkenhead
  • Europa, West Kirby and Guinea Gap Leisure Centres
  • Families using Seacombe, Bromborough and Brassey Street, Birkenhead Children's Centres can collect testing kits From a pharmacy.

A new ‘Pharmacy Collect’ service has launched with over 80 pharmacies signed up so far to provide an additional route to regular symptom-free testing. For details, go to https://maps.test-and-trace.nhs.uk/

People aged over 18 without symptoms can visit a participating local pharmacy and collect a box of seven rapid tests to use twice a week at home.
