Police received a call from a milkman in the area
POLICE have arrested a man suspected of trying car doors after being alerted by a milkman.
Officers say they are aware there has been an increase in reports of a man around the Golborne and Lowton area in the early hours trying doors.
A police response team gave the area extra attention after being alerted by a call from a local milkman.
After they arrived at the scene, a suspect was chased and arrested in connection with the alleged incidents.
He was taken to custody for interview.
