GANDEYS Circus is welcoming back audiences in Cheshire tomorrow, Monday, and the team is keen to assure people that precautions are in place to keep everyone safe.

Gandeys is coming to Knutsford and has strong links to the town, with performances dating back more than 100 years.

It will be erecting its famous big top on the Big Heath for performances in the town between May 17-23.

It has been awarded the VisitEngland ‘We’re Good to Go’ industry charter mark.

This verifies that the venue meets the Government and public health guidance on Covid-19 and has all the required health and safety processes in place to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable visit. 

Other precautions which you can expect include:

  • Arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before the performance
  • Temperature checks on arrival
  • One way system
  • Reduced seating capacity with social distancing between each bubble/ household
  • Operating the rule of six 
  • Face masks must be worn in public areas when you are out of your seat
  • Performers and crew members have been isolating together as a 'pod'
  • Handwashing stations are available 
  • Use cashless payments where possible
  • Seats are cleaned after each show
