LEIGH Sports Village will host some of the matches in next year’s UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 competition – and the pre-sale window is now open for supporters to buy tickets.
The hotly-anticipated event kicks off in July 2022 and the stadium on Sale Way will see three games in Group C, with these teams also playing at Bramall Lane in Sheffield, as well as one of the quarter finals.
Today, Tuesday, July 13, marked the first chance for fans to get their hands on a ticket for games at all ten venues across the country with the final taking place at Wembley.
There are more than 700,000 tickets available for what will be the biggest women’s European sporting event with around half a million available for under £25.
The Group C games at Leigh Sports Village will be held on Saturday, July 9, Wednesday, July 13 and Sunday, July 17 with the draw for the groups yet to take place.
The quarter final in Leigh will be on Friday, July 22.
