ADAM Sidlow will be playing for Leigh Centurions again next season, having signed a one-year contract extension.

Wigan-born Sidlow, 33, was signed from Toronto Wolfpack in November, 2020, having previously played for Widnes Vikings, Salford Red Devils and Bradford Bulls.

Sidlow said: “I am delighted to be offered a new contract and even though we have struggled this season results wise, I have enjoyed my time at the club.

“I have had a good career and still feel I can offer plenty to Leigh Centurions and for the loyal fans. 2021 has been tough for all players due to Covid but we are well looked after at the club and work within our bubble and we prepare well for games.”

He has played over 300 professional games and is an imposing front rower, standing at 6ft 4ins.

Interim head coach Kurt Haggerty said: “It’s great to have Adam on board for 2022.

"He’s an experienced front rower who has leadership qualities and still has the desire to be successful. He has shown in games this season he still has the quality to compete at the highest level.”
