A WOMAN was cut out of a car after a crash.
Emergency services were called to Bickershaw Lane, Wigan at around 2pm on Monday, October 4.
It is believed a car ended up on its side after crashing.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “At approximately 1.50pm on Monday, October 4, two fire engines from Hindley and Wigan, alongside the Technical Response Unit from Leigh, attended a road traffic collision on Bickershaw Lane, in Bickershaw.
“The collision involved one vehicle. Firefighters used specialist equipment to extricate one woman from the car, before she was transferred to the care of colleagues from NWAS and conveyed to hospital. Firefighters were in attendance for one hour.”
