Found: The car had been reported stolen in Atherton
A CAR which had been stolen in Atherton was recovered thanks to information provided by residents.
The car had been stolen in the Atherton area earlier on Monday November 15 before being found later in the day in Over Hulton.
Police from the Farnworth and New Bury Neighbourhood Policing Team were able to find it thanks to help given by people living locally.
Officers say that the car's rightful owner has been notified and an investigation into the theft is ongoing.
