POLICE arrested four suspects after they stung a stolen car in Leigh on Friday evening.
Officers were alerted that a Mini that had been stolen from the Trees Estate.
Leigh Neighbourhood Beat Officers then located the vehicle on the Higher Folds estate.
With the assistance of the TVIU team, officers stung the Mini and then pursued it to Butt Street.
A 16-year-old girl, a 22-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy were then detained at the car.
Meanwhile, an 18-year-old man was detained a short distance away.
All four were arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle.
Police said that the 18-year-old man has been further arrested in connection with a robbery of a Nissan Qashqai, which happened earlier in the week.
The vehicle had previously been found abandoned and seized by officers on Thursday.
Officers added that the investigation is still ongoing.
Three of the suspects have been bailed and one has been released under investigation.
