A WOMAN has been arrested in connection with the hoax threat made to Golborne High School.
On Tuesday afternoon (November 23), officers attended an address in Levenshulme and arrested a 26-year-old woman on suspicion of making threats to kill.
She remains in custody for questioning.
This arrest follows an incident on Monday, November 22 where police received an online report, believed to be a hoax, of an individual claiming that they were going to attend the school on Lowton Road, Golborne, in possession of a firearm.
Officers attended and it was established that there was no-one with a firearm in the area and no wider threat to the public.
