LEIGH Centurions have announced the signing of Australia international wing Blake Ferguson.
The 32-year-old, who is expected to link up with his new team-mates next week, has agreed a contract with the Championship club until the end of this season.
Ferguson made his NRL debut for Cronulla Sharks in 2009 and has also played for Canberra Raiders, Sydney Roosters and Parramatta Eels. He has scored 126 tries in 249 NRL games.
Centurions head coach Adrian Lam said: "Blake is considered one of the best outside back players in Australia in his prime, and it is massive news for our club.
"I've coached him at the Kangaroos, and he is not a player you won't notice.
"He has scored tries at the top echelon of the game on a consistent basis over many years. He represented the Kangaroos as a winger, but he could play centre or full-back.
"It will take a bit of time for him to adjust to our team, but the players will love having him around and he will soon settle into our environment."
