HERE is a great old photograph dating back to 1950.
This picture, which we saw in the local archives, features Madely’s Car Builders workshop, under the arches on Queen Street in Leigh.
The photo was taken in 1950 and, according to archive information, pictured from left to right are Frank Lees, Percy Madely and Charles Madely.
