LEIGH RUFC are making sure that their annual festival has something for everyone this bank holiday weekend.

Anticipated to be one of the most sought-after venues over the Jubilee weekend, the rugby club has organised a four-day party for people of all ages.

From Thursday, June 2 to Sunday, June 5, the Hand Lane festival will entertain guests with live music, funfairs, sport, as well as having a wide range of food and drink on offer.

Leigh RUFC's annual event has been a mainstay on the rugby club’s calendar in recent years and has helped them raise funds to support their own facilities as well as a number of charities in the area.

Canaan Thomas, one of the event organisers, said: “We are hoping that we can bring everybody together this weekend to enjoy the festival creating a great atmosphere in the local area.

“As a part of the event, we have numerous activities running alongside the beer festival including live music and food stalls.

“The festival will support the growing social infrastructure of the club and be the foundation of future community events that we plan on hosting, and provide room for development of aspects of the festival such as the TryIt 7’s tournament and the mixed ability.

“We hope to see you all down to enjoy the weekend together.”
