From a family fun day at Pennington Hall Park to a high street extravaganza in Atherton, people of all ages got kitted out in Red, White, and Blue to mark the Queen's 70 years on the throne.
Organised by local councillor James Paul Watson and the Atherton Carnival Committee, Atherton's jubilee festival was described as a great success on Saturday, June 4.
Commandeering the whole of Market Street, there were refreshments from local businesses as well as live music and kids entertainment on offer, as residents sat and relaxed in the Union Jack-filled high street.
Chair of the Carnival Committee, Brian Seddon said: "The Jubilee celebration was absolutely magnificent.
"The crowds were incredible and the whole town was buzzing and rammed with people.
"Councillor Watson deserves all the credit for creating the event but all the local people and businesses got involved to put on a fantastic event.
"The mayor of Wigan came down and people sat out on the street for hours - it was lovely to see and we have had brilliant feedback."
The celebration at Pennington Hall Park comprised of similar entertainment, with live music and kids activities making sure there was something for all the family to celebrate the Jubilee bank holiday.
For those who fancied a smaller gathering, residents across the borough decked their street out in Red, White, and Blue, and celebrated locally with their neighbours, friends and family.
