CLASS A drugs and cash in the region of £5,000 has been seized after police raided an address in Leigh.
The seizure resulted in the arrest of a 20-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
They remain in custody for questioning as inquiries are ongoing, police said in a statement.
Greater Manchester Police said: "As a result of information and intelligence passed by members of our community, your neighbourhood officers from H relief supported by C relief response officers have conducted a warrant at an address in Leigh.
"As a result of this information and working together with our community and partners a large amount of Class A drugs and what is estimated to be (more than) £5,000 cash has been seized as well as other evidence from the address.
"A 20-year-old male and a 31-year-old female have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, they remain in custody for questioning as inquiries are ongoing.
"This is a prime example of how you our community can and do assist us in bringing offenders to justice, removing harmful drugs from our streets and making Leigh a safer place to live."
