SWEDEN booked their place in the Women's Euros quarter-final after thrashing Portugal 5-0 at Leigh Sports Village.
Visiting Leigh for the first time during the tournament, hundreds of Swedish fans flocked to the fan zone at Leigh Civic Square before their game on Sunday, July 17.
Basking in the glorious sunshine, the fans were entertained with live music and kept refreshed with food and drink stalls in the backdrop of the Pete Shelley mural.

Similar to the Dutch fans on Wednesday evening, the football-mad Swedes then paraded in full voice from the town centre to the Sports Village for their final game of Group C.
To top off their experience in Leigh, the Women's team sent the country flying into the next round of the competition after putting five past Portugal.
After topping their group, they will return to Leigh Sports Village to play the Runners-up of Group D on Friday, July 22.
