ARSONISTS broke into an empty pub and set it on fire.
Fire crews were called to The Sportsman pub in Firs Lane, Leigh, at around 4.50am today.
Someone had broken in through a ground floor window and set fire to cushioned benches in the main room.
The blaze was put out before any major damage could be done.
