TWO police officers were taken to hospital after a collision in Leigh last night.
At around 10.30pm on Thursday, September 22, it is reported that a police car crashed into a roundabout on Twist Lane, Leigh.
It is reported that the officers were responding to an emergency situation at the time of the collision and were travelling with blue lights and sirens.
No other cars were involved and the officers were not chasing anyone.
Residents reported that Twist Lane was closed while officers dealt with the incident, causing a backlog of traffic.
The two officers were taken to hospital with minor injuries that are not life threatening or life changing.
