REGGAE Reggae Sauce founder Levi Roots was in Leigh yesterday cheering Jamaica in their final World Cup group match against Lebanon.
The World Cup debutants may not have won any matches - but they won over many hearts and put some smiles on faces.
And Jamaican-born Levi Roots, who wrote the team their own song, “One Dream, One Team: Sweet Jamaica”, was beaming yesterday when the Reggae Warriors scored two tries at LSV against Lebanon.
Despite the 74-12 defeat Jamaica leave the tournament with heads held high after a tournament that could spark even greater interest in the 13-man code in the Caribbean.
