A SINGLE mother from Atherton wants to inspire other single parents that their dreams can come true.

Gina Taylor, 37, a certified permanent makeup and aesthetics apecialist and trainer, will has opened her new Beauty Academy, Unique Beauty Academy, on Market Street in Atherton – and she is hoping to inspire others to also follow their dreams whilst also being able to spend time with their children.

Gina said: “Starting your own business and opening your first shop can be one of the most challenging things you’ll ever do.

“But we finally made it happen, thanks to our years of experience in business and of course, invaluable support of our lovely clients, friends, and students.

“Our luxury salon and academy will be open, welcoming thousands of ladies and gentlemen at our new location in Market Street, Atherton.

“Our brilliant team of seven has come together to offer the best treatments and training possible in a safe and fun-loving environment.

“We are providing high quality permanent makeup, hair, aesthetic and nail treatments to established and new customers as well as beauty training courses for aspiring artists and beauticians across the UK.”

Gina said her business has given her the chance to spend more time with her children and if she can do it, so can anyone else.

She said: “As a single mum of two boys and someone who has been in business for twenty years, my true calling is to help men and women feel more beautiful, confident, and empowered.

“My mission has always been to inspire people who want to start their own business like I did, so together we can create a community to inspire more people and help them feel amazing about themselves.

“I was running a highly successful cleaning business when I became qualified as a Permanent Makeup Specialist and Educator.

“Running a business as a single mum made me realise, I wanted so much more for my kids and a better future for them where we can spend more time together.

“This is something I was able to achieve by starting my own Permanent Makeup Business and if I could do it, so can you.

“We should always strive to do what we’re truly passionate about and give some value to our local community.

“So, my passion for beauty and business combined into starting our Unique Beauty Academy.

“This is just the beginning for us as our goal is to open another shop by January next year and have 200 shops in the next 5-10 years.”

The beauty academy will offer training opportunities as well.

Residents from across the area were also invited to a grand opening VIP Party held on Saturday, November 12.
