AFTER the theatrics before Leigh's opening game on their return to the Super League, another pop band will be taking to the Sports Village's temporary stage next month.
As noughties pop group Scouting For Girls provided sing-a-long classics before the Leopard's opener against Salford Red Devils on Friday, February 17, chairman Derek Beaumont has decided to bring back the entertainment when St Helens come to town.
When the newly-promoted Leopards host the Super League and World Club Challenge champions on Friday, March 10, 80s pop band T'Pau will perform on the AB Sundecks stage before the game.

Fronted by lead singer Carol Decker, T'Pau earned a platinum certification for their Number One album 'Bridge Of Spies', which contained the band's biggest hits 'China in Your Hand' and 'Heart and Soul'.
Gaining popularity across Europe and the US, T'Pau split in 1992 but Decker has been performing under the band's name since 1998.
With the Shrewsbury-based band the second entertainment act this season, Beaumont suggested on social media that there were other acts being considered for further games.
Speaking to the League Express about the Scouting For Girls show, Leopards Chairman Derek Beaumont said: "We are in the entertainment industry and we need to make our matches more entertaining than just a game of rugby.
“When people leave the stadium, even if the result isn’t what they wanted, we want them to think that they attended a good event and they’ll want to come again.
“I’m confident that we will have an evening that everyone will remember for a long time and that will appeal to a wide range of people who want to come and enjoy themselves.”

After the 20-10 loss to Salford and a 14-6 defeat away to Catalan Dragons, the Leopards are still awaiting their first victory on their return to the Super League.
Leigh travel to Hull KR this weekend (Friday, March 3), and will host Saints the following weekend.
