A MAN has been charged following an investigation into a series of assaults in Leigh.
Last week, Greater Manchester Police reported that a man was assaulted in Lord Street, at around 6.15pm on Monday, May 15.
A couple of minutes later, another man was reportedly assaulted at a premises along Bradshawgate, while a third and fourth person were allegedly assaulted on Brown Street a short time after that.
After the episode, which lasted around 10-15 minutes, officers put out an appeal to receive more information into the incidents.
Officers have since confirmed that Daleroy Zinyemba (17/04/1995), of Union Street, Leigh, has been charged with four counts of assault and one count of criminal damage.
He has been remanded into custody and will next be appearing at Bolton Crown Court on Monday, June 26.
