LEIGH'S hardest working band once again showed off their skills and stamina as they smashed through six sets at the legendary Glastonbury Festival.

From playing in small pubs in Leigh to huge sell-out shows across the country, the Lottery Winners have become renowned for their hard graft and dedication as they have steadily built a large and loyal fanbase over the past 15 years.

This endurance and belief in what they are doing has culminated in an extraordinary spell for the Leigh four-piece this year, as they earned their first Number One album with 'Anxiety Replacement Therapy' and sold out their biggest show to date at Manchester Apollo.

Not ones to quit while they are ahead, Thom, Rob, Katie, and Joe showed just what type of band they are at Glastonbury Festival as they played six sets across multiple stages over the weekend.

Playing to thousands of new fans, their sets spanned Glastonbury's vast fields as the four-piece played packed gigs at the Strummerville, Avalon, Greenpeace, Rabbit Hole, and Left Field stages.

Determined to get the Lottery Winners name out even further, despite their recent successes, the band's Glastonbury experience also included four radio interviews as well as a national TV spot.

Speaking about the band's experience, lead singer Thom said: "Playing a set at Glastonbury is an honour and a privilege, but six is unheard of.

"Every single one was unique and packed to the rafters. We really did do a victory lap of the festival. A whole world tour of Glastonbury.

"Mark my words, one day, we'll be on that Pyramid Stage. I won't rest until we are."
