A HISTORIC pub in Glazebury is set to reopen.
Having been closed for nearly five years, it has now been confirmed that the Raven Inn, on Warrington Road, will be reopening at 12pm on Saturday August 12.
Spokesman Peter Sturman said ‘so, so many people have made this possible’.
He added: “Our much loved and sorely missed Raven Inn will open its doors to the general public, for the first time since September 2018.
“We will be getting the excellent community pub we all deserve.
“We are very lucky to have Debs Guest as our manager. Debs has assembled a fantastic and experienced team.
“We will be doing some work, beforehand, to ensure we have everything in place for our official public opening on the 12th.
“Everyone who has contributed & there are hundreds & hundreds of you. Pat yourself on the back. You have all made this day possible.”
