DINERS have revealed their sadness over the immediate closure of a popular village restaurant.

Courtyard Bistro, a modern British eatery and bar offering wines and cocktails in Lowton, has announced that it has permanently closed its doors.

In a post on its social media channels, the team paid tribute to customers for visiting over the years, adding that the decision to close was a difficult one.

Owners added that they hope residents will continue to support local businesses which contribute much to the character of the area.

The post read: “It is with heavy hearts that we share this news with you. After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close The Courtyard Bistro with immediate effect.

“We want to take this moment to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who has supported us throughout this incredible journey.

“Your loyalty, smiles, and cherished moments spent in our little bistro have meant the world to us.

“From our talented chefs to our dedicated staff, we have been privileged to serve such an amazing community.”

It goes on to say: “The Courtyard Bistro has been more than just a restaurant; it has been a place where memories were made, friendships were forged and love was shared over delectable dishes.

“While our doors may be closing, the memories and connections made within these walls will forever remain in our hearts.

“Thank you for being a part of our Courtyard Bistro family. We will miss you all dearly, but we hope our paths may cross again in the future.

“Until then, please take care of yourselves and continue to support the local businesses that make our community vibrant and strong.”
